]]>Choosing one of the gorgeous Crystorama chandeliers seems like it would be the easiest part of the design… until it actually comes down to making the decision! Lighting is one of the most important pieces in the room. I like to think of it as the jewelry, it not only sets the tone but also makes a statement while providing a beautiful & functional way to light up your home. Thankfully, with your help on my Instagram poll & my amazing friends at Crystorama, we made the best decision ever! I love ALL things that sparkle, so your help was much appreciated during this entire process. I would probably still be debating without you guys!! If you weren’t a part of the poll, I’ll fill you in on the options we had so you can see just how hard this decision was!
Deciding to partner with Crystorama was the easy part, choosing one of their gorgeous chandeliers was definitely the hard part. They offer some of the most beautiful & unique chandeliers I have seen on the market, not to mention gorgeous designer-curated pieces from both Libby Langdon & Brian Patrick Flynn. The team at Crystorama was there every step of the way from sizing to waiting on pins and needles with me as you guys chose the final result! It was SUCH a fun process including you guys and putting the decision in your hands! After weeks of narrowing it down to 2
In the end, it was neck and neck and you all ultimately ended up choosing the Mercer!!
As you can see… EVERYONE APPROVES and it is absolutely perfect!!
Dazzling with faceted cut crystal, the Mercer Collection sparkles from all angles. Especially if viewed from the bottom, the unique design forms a stunning metal floral design.
The opulent crystal paired with Olde Silver metal work allows this chandelier to bring luxurious appeal to a variety of spaces. This showstopper creates a captivating focal point of dripping crystal as though they are frozen icicles.
Between your help & the gorgeous

]]>If you’ve been following my Instagram posts, then you know it’s no secret that I’m no stranger to painting. In fact it’s up there on one of my favorite things to do! I know what you’re thinking “What the heck is wrong with this girl”?! Maybe I’ve been around one too many paint fumes, however I know the struggle with picking the right “gray”. Hopefully I can save you a step or two along the way by sharing my paint colors in my home.
Actually once upon a time didn’t enjoy painting at all. It wasn’t until my sweet mother showed me the power of investing in a good brush and how to edge that really sparked my passion for painting (that and the fact that I change my wall colors more than my hair color) and now I no longer had to tape off a wall, or ceiling, or baseboard again… Dream come true!! Thanks Mom!! It’s also one of my favorite ways to update a space without breaking the budget, plus at the end of the day if your wall doesn’t turn out the way you’ve envisioned (been there a time or two), well its just paint !! So here are the answers to some of my most frequently asked paint color questions.
Alright, lets start with my upstairs accent wall Devine Mirage by Valspar Devine Color
This is hands down my favorite color accent wall in my home, and was surprisingly picked up on a whim of one of my “I’m only running to Target for milk and paper towels” trips. Guess who forgot the milk though.
Moving on to the main color of all the rest of the walls in my upstairs is Cotton Grey by Behr
As we work our way downstairs here is the transition photo of the 2 greys coming together
Classic Silver by Behr on the left and Cotton Grey by Behr on the right
Let’s head downstairs! Classic Silver by Behr is going to be the main color down here.
For the downstairs accent wall, which is another target score, is Devine Buck by Valspar Devine Color
The office accent wall is Devine Coal by Valspar Devine Color. Obviously I’m a huge fan of these devine colors… and target
My bedroom Accent wall is currently Devine Compass by Valspar Devine Color (and is subject to change before this even gets posted)
Last, but not least, is my absolute favorite way to update your doors.. black paint! I used Limousine Leather by Behr
Black doors are my little secret to making my builder grade doors have a more custom feel.
Hopefully this helps you guys!! If you have any questions at all feel free to ask!! I’m more than happy to help on your painting adventures!!
