Need a quick & easy, last minute table for Super Bowl Sunday? Look no further because I’ve created all of this for under 20 dollars! Did I also mention that I found everything I needed at one store? This DIY football field table is sure to be a hit no matter who you are rooting for!
Without further ado, I give you the DIY football field table. We’re going to take this kitchen island, and turn it into this!
I found everything I needed at Hobby Lobby, and for under 20 dollars! Here is a 40% off coupon that you can print out, or you can simply visit the website on your phone while shopping.
If you don’t have a Hobby Lobby near you, Party City, Target, or any party decor store should have all of these items.
Items you will need Include:
1 Green Table Cloth $1.99
White Duct Tape $4.99
Number Stencil $4.99
Paint Marker $3.99
Football Sticker $3.99
Total $19.95 before the 40% Coupon of 1 regular price item bringing us down to our new
Total of $17.95
All the deals! Alright, lets get started! First, lay out your table cloth to fit your surface.
Cut any excess tablecloth off.
Tape down the ends & corners.
Now, here is where you can make your table have more or less yard lines, however I opted for 3 lines, with the middle point being the 50 yard line. I simply measured to the middle of my island, then measured half of each of the remaining sides. This is where I ran my full tape lines.
As you can see you will start to tape down the sides as you do this part.
You can also get this as smooth as you want during this part, however I wasn’t too worried about it, as the table will be covered with food & drinks! Now we are going to add the stencil numbers!
Simply lay out your numbers on each side of the line, and color in with your paint marker! Wait until paint is completely dry before removing the stencil, or it may run.
Voila! It’s finished! Throw on your football decal and you are in business!
I stocked up on some black and white party decor because it is always super versatile. It’s also easy to use with many different themes, and in this case, it’s the perfect referee reference. Now if this was a Seahawks Super Bowl, my entire house would be covered in Seahawks decor, however we’re welcoming Patriots & Eagles fans this year, so were keeping it neutral.
This entire DIY football field table will take you about as long as it took you to read this post. Throw it all together the morning of, and its sure to be a hit with all of your guests.
This is a great idea!!!
Thank you Trina!! It makes clean up such a breeze!
