Yes way rosé! I’m sharing my favorite go-to summer cocktail & how to throw together a quick & easy summer bar cart. Memorial Day Weekend always marks the unofficial start of summer and I’m more than ready for BBQ’s, warm summer nights, and family vacations & my summer sangria is perfect for all of those occasions! So grab a glass and let’s bring on summer!
Bar Cart Styling
You already know I love a good bar cart and they can serve so many purposes besides being only for liquor display! I actually use them all over my home for other pretty storage solutions as well as their intended use of an actual bar cart. For this event, I put together a quick way to style a no fuss, yet stylish bar cart perfect for any summer soirée!
Essential items on our sangria bar cart
- Beverage Server
- Cake stand
- Cocktail Napkins
- Straws or stir sticks
- Garnish plate
- Glassware
- Corkscrew
- Extra bottles of rosé
- Flowers
I started with my naked bar and added some hanging glassware, a cake stand, and my beverage dispenser. You want to get the functional items on first and save the decor for the end. Next, I added my stemless glassware, adding a cocktail napkin under each one to not only add some fun color to the cart but also to make it easy on guests before they are in search of a napkin. I next added a stemless wine glass to act as a straw holder, my garnish plate, an extra pitcher, and even more wine! I even threw a little jigger in there in case anyone needed to add a little extra punch of strawberry lemonade vodka to their sangria. Lastly, I added florals, mine are faux because I have a black thumb and can’t even be trusted to keep a bouquet alive, however, I am working on this skill! I also added some hanging greens which I love adding to all of my designs because they just create this whimsical feeling I can’t get enough of. Also faux, and courtesy of my fave Michaels store!

Strawberry Lemonade Summer Sangria Recipe
Now that BBQ season is upon us, I get a lot of requests to make my strawberry lemonade summer sangria, so I thought I would share my recipe with you guys! It’s super simple to throw together before a party and ready to go after only a couple of hours in the fridge. I’ve noticed at most of my parties my guests prefer the convenience of sipping on one of my pre-made drinks rather than the hassle of making their own. Whether it’s a punch, a sangria, or a good old-fashioned pitcher of lemonade, it doesn’t last long in this house!
So without further ado, I give you my strawberry lemonade summer sangria. Enjoy!
- 2 bottles of rosé (750ml)
- 2 cups of Svedka strawberry lemonade vodka
- 6 cups of Sprite
- ½ cup of sugar (to taste)
- 1(16oz) bag of frozen sliced strawberries
- 4 lemons
- 10 or more fresh strawberries
- Combine rosé, vodka, & sugar in a pitcher of your choice and stir
- Slice fresh strawberries & lemons and add to pitcher. Set some aside for garnish.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- When ready to serve, add the Sprite & the bag of frozen sliced strawberries (helps keep sangria cold without watering it down with ice) and gently stir.
- Serve over ice, sliced strawberries, & lemon garnish.
To make a mocktail version of this just use a strawberry lemonade in place of the alcohol and continue to use the rest of the ingredients listed! I love having pretty garnishes in my drinks even if it’s non-alcoholic! You can also use your second pitcher for serving the non-alcoholic version if you want to serve both!
Cheers!!

Ok so a few things. First of all, I’m pinning this blog post so it can be BLASTED all over Pinterest in no time – these images are INSANELY BEAUTIFUL!! Second, I love how you took progressive photos of the bar cart. I’m obsessed with that idea and will most likely try the same thing in one of my blog posts – it’s SO COOL. The details here are unbelievable. I suddenly feel like I’m judging a bar cart competition LOL. I mean hypothetically speaking, if I was, you would win. 10/10. I may share this on a glass of bo(vino) because it’s vino related. I just love this so much!!
Thank you!!! You are seriously too sweet!! Please definitely feel free to share on your site ! The more the merrier at this rosé partayyy!!! And I’m definitely going to spend the rest of the day letting everyone know that I, in fact, won the bar cart competition hahaha!
Ashley, this whole post is amazing! Love that you included every little detail and the progress slideshow of your cart styling! Also, I’m going to have to try this flavor of SVEDKA! I used their mango pineapple flavor in my latest cocktail recipe and loved it!
