Every few months I completely empty the fridge, check expirations, and overhaul everything in there. Once your initial overhaul is complete, fridge organization becomes so much more manageable, and surprisingly stays that way on a day-to-day basis. Project “Overhaul the Fridge” all started by buying the clear organizers for my pantry, which quickly spread to all over the house, and made its way into the fridge!<\/p>\n

If you’re not familiar with the clear organizers I’m referring to\u00a0I’ll\u00a0link some here. I also find them here & there at Homegoods or Marshalls and I always pop down that aisle just to see if there are any I need. Which sometimes (always) leads to finding one I didn’t know I needed, spurring another area to get organized.<\/p>\n

Like I mentioned before, fridge organization starts by completely emptying out the fridge. Categorize as you’re emptying by condiments, juices, meats, cheeses, etc. This makes it much easier as you start checking expirations and preparing items to go back in.<\/p>\n

I try to plan where everything will work best on a daily basis. This way I can utilize the most space before it goes back in.<\/p>\n

My favorite find has been the turntable. Game changer. Instead of moving everything around to get to the back to find what you need, simply give that bad boy a twirl, and voila! All the things!<\/p>\n

Here is one of my little clear bins that allows me to store smaller items all the way to the back. As you can see that’s a pretty funky space and I don’t want to be moving all the milk or juice to get to what I need back there. I can just pull this out, grab what I need, and back it goes. No wasted space.<\/p>\n

And for my fellow Pepsi addicts, a must have soda dispenser. You could put other sodas or even La Croix in there but over here, Pepsi is life.<\/p>\n

I do keep water stocked at all times, so Pepsi isn’t the only thing I’m drinking. On the same shelf as the Pepsi I keep my smaller dairy products like sour cream, half & half, yogurt, and eggs. I love the clear bin that the eggs are in because the top is removable. When I need to stack some things on there I can. I can also remove it completely for easy to grab eggs.<\/p>\n

My bottom drawers are usually just one side meat and one side cheese. Occasionally I will throw some veggies down there too.<\/p>\n

The very top rack is surprisingly empty at the moment and is reserved for leftovers. It’s usually storing pizza & Panera. Also if you haven’t tried that potato salad, it’s from Costco and is amazing. I don’t even make my own anymore after trying that.<\/p>\n

Both of my doors are reserved for condiments, dressings, hot sauce packets, and one section is even for drink mixes.<\/p>\n

My fridge also has this nifty little “show case” area for quick grab things like creamer, ketchup, hot sauce, etc.<\/p>\n

That’s all there is to my fridge organization hacks. As you can see we live off Pepsi, pickles, and hot sauce. Hopefully this will help you get an idea of where to start on your fridge organization. Remember there are all different types of those containers, so I’m sure you will find some that work for your specific fridge space.<\/p>\n

Also if you have stainless appliances like I do & hate cleaning them, this is the absolute best stainless polish I have found. I use a Clorox wipe to clean and sanitize it first, then I don’t even worry about the streaks left behind from that, because once you go over it with this polish & a flour sack towel it looks showroom ready.<\/p>\n
